How Starbucks Saved My Life, by Michael Gates Gill
Michael goes bankrupt, despairs and is offered, by an incongruous chance, an offer to work at Starbucks. There he regains self-confidence, respect and happiness, in a job he disregarded in his first life. This book is about the unexpected happiness one may experience in finally finding one’s place in the world, among respectful people and putting to use one’s greatest abilities. I liked this book. It also highlights the difficulties in changing one’s way of living late in life. I recommend it to the readers that wish to gain confidence in the opportunity of new life perspectives.
